GDI Experiment Day 18

First off, I am starting to see a lot of unique views to this site. Each day it grows. The percentage of views generated from search engine goes up each day. So what does that mean for me? 'Miracle' no deaths in burning jet
I will occasionally post non related items just because I think they are important, or they caught my eye. I am a news junkie, so if it happened, I heard about it. Anyways I am not a huge fan of airplanes. I've been on a few and I don't totally freak out during the flight. But just the fact that USUALLY when you crash, you cease to exist. But not in this case. Gives me a bit of hope.
DENVER – Firefighters said Sunday it was a miracle that no one was killed when an airliner veered sharply off a runway during takeoff, burst into flames and nearly broke apart.
There was no official word on the possible cause of the crash of Continental Flight 1404 at Denver International Airport. Federal aviation investigators arrived at the airport Sunday afternoon.
The entire right side of the Boeing 737 was burned in the Saturday evening accident and melted plastic from overhead compartments dripped onto the seats.
"It was a miracle ... that everybody survived the impact and the fire," said Bill Davis, an assistant Denver fire chief assigned to the airport. "It was just amazing."
A crack encircled much of the fuselage near the trailing edge of the wings, and the left engine had broken loose and come to a rest about 30 feet away, Davis said.
Davis, one of the firefighters who rushed to the scene, said the plane came to a rest about 200 yards from one of the airport's four fire stations. He said passengers walked out of the ravine in 24-degree cold and crowded inside the station.
The 110 passengers and five crew members left the plane on emergency slides, officials said.
Passenger Emily Pellegrini said that as the plane headed down the runway, "It was bumpy, then it was bumpier, then it wasn't bumpy."
She told The Denver Post she wasn't sure the plane ever lifted off before veering hard to the right.
Thirty-eight people suffered injuries including broken bones. Two people were initially listed in critical condition at the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver but were upgraded Sunday, one to serious and one to fair, spokeswoman Tonya Ewers said.
Continental Airlines spokeswoman Julie King said fewer than seven people were still in the hospital Sunday morning. She declined to comment on the types of injuries.

The plane came to a rest in a shallow, snow-covered ravine between runways. Flat land is rare on the plains abutting the Rocky Mountains near Denver, and the airport was built on gently rolling country. The runways are elevated so rain and snow will drain away.

Today has been rather slow. However I have managed to develop something I believe will be an awesome addition to the GDI Experiment Community. Allow me to take this time and formally introduce the GDI Experiment Network. Here people can join up and discuss either techniques they feel are useful, or other ways they make money on the internet.
Also it will serve as the headquarters for my down line allowing the one stop access to all the techniques that have worked for me. Please visit the GDI Experiment Network And join the action.
I also wanted to touch on some of the misconceptions regarding GDI. First and foremost. If someone is claiming they can make you 1000's of dollars in a matter of days they are probably lying. GDI is about persistence. Its about being able to stick with something and watch it develop.
I want to make sure you understand when joining me that you will not make money if you have no interest in putting a little effort. I will give you the tools and and point you in the right direction. Along with all the support of the community. But it still requires work on your part. And really courting your down line is your ultimate job.
So remember, if you aren't making huge leaps and bounds in the first week, don't fret. Give it some time. Think about it - even if you stay with GDI for 6 months, that is only a $60 investment for a potential at high returns. And I will next to guarantee you'll be making money at that point.

GDI Experiment Day 12
So it is day 12 and I must apologize. I said that I would give an update last Sunday but unfortunately I wasn't able to do so. But I am here now to give some info I believe to be rather important.
First off, I HAD 4 direct sign ups, but one recently emailed me informing me he got a new job that would take up far more time then he expected. Therefore I'm down to 3 direct sign ups, however one of those sign ups, has a sign up so it is growing.
But here is the thing. I get anywhere from 25-50 hits combined between my youtube vids, my digg account, and this blog - yet only about 1 lead per day, and maybe 1 sign up every 2 or 3 days. And I think I know why. When somebody clicks on one of my links - it takes them either to a ticket where they must enter in their email address, and then they will be sent to a Flash movie. This is where it gets sticky. The flash movie, and the page the host it reeks of shady marketing. Its plastic if you will. Feels fake. While it is NOT, it feels that way. And people get scared off by this. I know I would have if I didn't find the youtube video first which gave me a better first impression then that page ever would have.
Therefore my new goal is to create a new capture page that will give a better first and second impression. Which hopefully will lead to a better conversion rate. And in the capture page i assume to offer my capture pages to my team. So that should be a decent incentive. Anyways GDI day 12 is half way done. Maybe I'll get another sign up before its over.

GDI Experiment Day 9
Wow, It has been one hell of a few days. I only spent a grand total of 30 minutes in front of computer and while i did little work, I got some big results.
I got 2 more sign ups, and one of my sign ups, got a sign up. You can kind of see how it is like a snowball. And while mine is still small, it is starting to gain momentum and soon it should be a nice sized network with all involved benefiting.

Hey guys, day 6 and more good news. Yet another person has joined the experiment. So I think we can say for sure that it works now. So if that is still out there, I can pretty much squash it. I would also like to share with you my favorite traffic driving site. Digg.com . I'm using a very effective technique that I just cannot divulge here. I really wish I could. But then i'd be giving away the secrets.

Well, exciting news. I've gotten 2 PAID sign ups. And from this blog nonetheless. And those guys, have been able to follow what I've showed them in order to get it started. Pretty stoked that it is working. Just gotta give it some time.

GDI Experiment Day 3
Well It's day 3. Today I have to work at my "real" job for a full 8 hours. Ouch! Therefore I won't be able to spend as much time online today as I have the past few days. That being said, I feel I've made some progress.
Yesterday evening I made a new YouTube video. In conjunction with a nifty little program that helped me drive the view count up in order to get it on the first few pages of most home business searches. Which is awesome. That alone has generated leads for me. Unfortunately, i was not able to convert these "leads" or as I like to refer to them, "people", into GDI referals. So it continues.
I must however forward something new that i've descovered through Yahoo. We have all looked on google for a specific question we had and ended up @ Yahoo Answers. This is where I come in. You can do a search directly on Answers for "money from home", "work from home", or "legitimate home business". How perfect, people actually asking is there a real way to make money on the internet. And, as far as I'm concerned this is a real way to make money. So I Answer their question with my link and some food for thought which usually is personal.
Anyways, Day 3 is here, and this will be a good test. I'll be out of the house most of the day. Lets see if technology really will work for me.

GDI Experiment Day 2
So today I have spent about 3 hours trying to generate some traffic to my site. I have gotten 8 or 9 grabs today. But they didn't stick around to sign up for the free trial. Kinda strange really. I see its potential and that it can work, but i just think most people brush it off like the same old thing. I did almost. And maybe i still will.

GDI Experiment Day 1
So its begun. I signed up with the website. Talked with the guy above me, and got my domain. I'm actually kind of excited about it. I'm well aware of get rich quick schemes and such. So i guess if this turns out to be that, then i'll know relatively quickly.
I'm using a few different ways to advertise. First is adwords, i've set up my account with them and running ads, so we'll see if that generates anything. Other then that, I'm going to tell people and see where it ends up.
